Why Test Your Blog Functions

Like all systems, your blog needs to be completely tested to ensure the functions of your blog are working correctly. This is why I am sending this post by mail. Imagine this..... While you are on vacation, busy at work, etc., you find yourself encountering a situation or experience that would make an excellent blog entry.  Now you go looking for a system to log onto and post, but you find you cannot have access to a computer long enough to go online, log into your blogging system, create, edit and then post your entry. Or..... Sometimes, you will find yourself in a situation where the only time you have is while going to the bathroom.  You have a few minutes to use the web function on your cell phone to compose and send an email.  These situations were why your blog systems 'post by mail' ability can become critical to ensuring that your ability to post to your blog on a regular basis is rarely compromised.  This ensures that your blog will not become stagnant, losing yourself readers in the process. But what if you had not properly setup the function on your blog?  What if the blog system encountered problems with the various system addons and widgets?  If you had not been testing your blog functions on a regular basis, you would not know if the system was working at a critical moment, and could be disastrous depending on the circumstances and your clientele.
